It's been a long time from the last post but...here we are with the DustyRabbit :)

Non ho molti lavori nuovi, d'estate tendo ad andare un po' in standby, ma qualcosina c'è. Di solito inizio a sognare l'autunno già a luglio, ma con il caldo che ha fatto quest'anno è davvero difficile entrare nell'atmosfera giusta :)      

comunque...ecco alcune zucchette di lana

I don't have many new crafts, during the summer I tend to go on standby, but there's something. I usually start to dream autumn already in july, but with the hot weather of this year it's hard to get into the right mood :)

E finalmente ho finito e incorniciato questo bellissimo schema di Plum Street Samplers...

And finally I finished and framed this beautiful chart from Plum Street Samplers...

a causa delle temperature poco miti degli ultimi giorni mi è venuta voglia di fare qualche lavoretto natalizio!!!

Lo schema per il ricamino l'ho preso da luli, qui. Il suo blog è bellissimo e offre sempre dei piccoli schemi delicatissimi ma di grande effetto.

E il topo nonna ve lo ricordate? Non avevo mai avuto occasione di postarla finita, con la sua base in legno e l'occorrente per lavorare a maglia :)

Alla fine il mio amore per la lana mi ha portato a spulciare YouTube, cercando tutorial tecnici, dato che finora ho praticamente improvvisato. Così ho trovato i fantastici video di Sarafina Fiber Art e ho realizzato queste zucchette, spero vi piacciano!!

In the end my love for wool inspired me to look on YouTube, searching for technical tutorials, because until now I practically improvised. So I found the wonderful videos of Sarafina Fiber Art and I made these needle felted pumpkins, hope you like them!!

Buongiorno a tutti :)

da qualche tempo nel campo di fronte casa abbiamo un ospite, un bellissimo tasso.

Da molto desideravo vederne uno da vicino e qualche settimana fa guardando fuori dalla finestra, eccolo lì nel buio, come per magia! Adesso ogni sera aspetto che metta fuori il suo musetto striato e lo guardo mentre gironzola tra l'erba. Così in suo onore ecco Mister Magu :) realizzato ad ago in lana con cappello e mantello in feltro.

do you know we have a guest in the field in front of the house?? A beautiful badger.

I always wanted to see a badger close and a few weeks ago, looking out of the window, there he was in the dark, as if by magic!

Now every night I wait for him, watching while he wanders through the grass. So in his honor I made Mister Magu, needle felted with love:)
