Spring make us sleep...

L'aria primaverile comincia a farsi sentire a casa del coniglietto impolverato, sta perdendo pelo ed è supersonnolenta durante il giorno...

Spring air begins to be felt at the DustyRabbit home, she's loosing hair and she's super sleepy during the day...

...tanto che si addormenta mentre mangia :)

...she falls asleep while eating :)

Anche se non mancano gli attimi di allarme :)

Even if there are moments of alarm :)

Noi intanto per svegliarci un po' facciamo delle belle passeggiate, incontrando vari amici lungo il solito cammino...

We make beautiful walks to keep us awake, meeting some friends along the usual path...

Vi lascio con un'altra bambolina che ho fatto in stile country stavolta per la cucina :)

Nonna Topo!!!

Oggi volevo  mostrarvi la mia nuova amica di lana, Nonna Topo.

L'ho realizzata ad ago, le ho fatto degli occhialetti di ottone e baffi di fil di ferro. I ferri da calza sono due stuzzicadenti e lo scialle l'ho realizzato a macramè. Se vi piace lasciatemi un commento, mi farebbe piacere così non ho la sensazione di parlare da sola ehehe...  :)

Today I'm happy to show you my new woolen friend, Grandma Mouse.

I needle felt her, made her little glasses and mustache. The knitting needles are two toothpicks and the shawl is made in macramè.

Primitive Dolls

Ciao a tutti :) quanto tempo dall'ultimo post!! 

Ultimamente sono impegnata con dei lavori che stiamo facendo a casa, quindi non ho avuto molto tempo da dedicare al blog.

Vi mostro soltanto queste due bamboline create seguendo il progetto di Patrizia Bottaz, della quale vi avevo già parlato qui.

I'm busy with some renovations here at home, so I didn't have much time for the blog.

I just show you two little dolls I made following the project of Patrizia Bottaz. 

I already told you about her here.

Per i mazzolini ho usato striscioline di mandarini arrotolate ed essicate e semini vari (girasole, sesamo, mais, caffè etc.).

For the bouquets I used strips of rolled and dried mandarins and various seeds (sunflower, sesame, corn, coffee etc.).

Questo invece è un piccolo ciondolo che ho realizzato per me, dipinto su una fetta di legno di ginepro, ovviamente un coniglietto che guarda la luna :)

And this is a small pendant I painted for me on a slice of juniper wood, obviously a little bunny staring at the moon :)

Due lavoretti al pirografo, il primo da uno stencil di Moonlight Creations, il secondo sinceramente non ricordo dove l'ho trovato...

ma lo adoro!!

Two little woodburning works, the first from a Moonlight Creations stencil, the second honestly I can't remember where I found it...but I really love it!!

Krampus Night

Sicuramente molti di voi conoscono i Krampus, i diavoli che il 5 dicembre accompagnano in sfilata San Nicolò frustacchiando i bambini cattivi con delle scopette di rami, dipingendo i loro faccini di carbone e suonando terribili campanacci. La tradizione si perde nella notte dei tempi ed è tipica del Trentino-Alto Adige e di molte altre zone di lingua tedesca come la Baviera, Svizzera etc. I Krampus interagiscono con il pubblico, appendendosi alle transenne, colpendolo con rami di betulla, rendendolo elettrico già durante l'attesa del loro spettacolare arrivo. Eccovi alcune fotografie dell'orrorifica sfilata dell'anno scorso a Dobbiaco :)

Here are Krampus! These scary demons parade with Saint Nicholas every 5 december, beating naughty children with bundles of branches, painting their little faces with coal and frighten them with bells and chains. This is a very old tradition typical of Trentino-Alto Adige and many other German areas like Bavaria, Switzerland etc. Krampus interact with public, beating and being unpredictable, creating electricity trough the people.

Getting ready for Christmas!!

Qui a casa del coniglietto impolverato ci stiamo preparando per Natale e c'è addirittura più caos del solito :)

Il coniglietto è supercoccoloso e ha già il suo bel pelo invernale anche se il freddo tarda ad arrivare...

Here at the DustyRabbit home we're preparing for Christmas and there's even more chaos than usual :)

The little rabbit is super fluffy and she has her winter coat on, even if is not so cold yet...

Ok...ma dove sono finite le mie orecchie??
