Questo schema è davvero bellissimo, da Plum Street Samplers, ma chissà se riuscirò mai a finirlo :)

Qui invece ci sono due piccoli lavoretti al pirografo. Il coniglietto l'ho ripreso da un'immagine trovata su pinterest...

These are two little woodburnings. The rabbit is inspired by an image found on pinterest...

 Questo invece è il bottino risultato da una lunga corsa in bici con mia madre (4 ore di favolosa bici tra i campi!). Le bacche sono la mia passione, purtroppo non ho un giardino altrimenti ci pianterei tutti i tipi di frutti di bosco e simili, forse nella prossima vita...

This is the result of a long bike ride with my mother (4 hours of fabulous bike through the fields!). Berries are my passion, unfortunately I don't have a garden or I would have all types of them, maybe in the next life...

Salve di nuovo :)

con questo tempo buio e piovoso è davvero difficile fare nuove fotografie, così oggi vi mostro qualche foto di casa. Per questi quadretti ho usato della carta originale dell'800 sulla quale ho stampato un ritratto di Jules Verne (ho una passione per lui) e altri tre soggetti presi da internet che ricordano l'atmosfera dei suoi libri :)

Hello again :) with this dark rainy weather it's really difficult to take new pictures, so today I like to share these pics of our home. For these I used original 1800 paper printed with a portrait of Jules Verne (I have a passion for him) and other 3 image from internet that remind of his books :)

Questo invece fa parte della piccola collezione di stampe dell'800 che ho accumulato nel tempo.

This comes from the small collection of 1800 prints I have accumulated over time.

Questo quadro invece è stato acquistato da Ivan anni fa, si intitola "Il mercante di sogni" e l'autore si chiama Fermo. Io lo trovo incredibile e bellissimo.

This paint, that Ivan bought years ago, is titled " Merchant of dreams" and the artist is called Fermo. I find it amazing and beautiful.

E questa sono io al computer con la mia piccola aiutante sempre vicino :)

quando è triste e vuole stare da sola in cucina basta agitare il barattolo delle noccioline o mettere su un disco dei Pink Floyd per farla correre in soggiorno ;)

And this is me with my little helper always near :)

when she is sad and wants to stay alone in the kitchen just shake the jar of peanuts or put on a record of Pink Floyd to make her run in the living room ;)

Creepy places

Qui a casa del coniglietto polveroso abbiamo diversi angoli particolari, stile "soffitta della nonna" che potrebbero inquietare qualcuno ma di certo non noi!!! 

Eccone uno, con tanto di pendolo stregato centenario :) e vecchia bambola...stregata anche quella :)

Here at the DustyRabbit home we have many creepy places, in "grandma's attic" style, that may scare somebody but certainly  not us!!!

Here is one, complete with 100 years old haunted pendulum :) and an old doll...also haunted of course :)

Forse il coniglio stesso è stregato, guardate quei baffi fantasmagorici :)


Maybe the rabbit is haunted too, look at those ghostly moustaches :)

Fabric Covered Pumpkin

Eccovi un'altra bella zucchetta molto facile da realizzare. Avevo comprato alcune zucche per pochi spiccioli simili a questa:

Here is another little pumpkin simple to make.

I used a dollar store pumpkin similar to this:

Ho tagliato delle strisce di stoffa e le ho incollate con la vinavil una adiacente all'altra, tirando bene la stoffa perchè non facesse grinze. Infine ho aggiunto un pezzettino di feltro per fare la base del gambetto e coprire l'attaccatura delle strisce. Davvero facile da realizzare con le vostre stoffe preferite.

I cut some fabric strips and glued on pumpkin, stretching well the fabric. Then I added a little piece of felt to do the base of stem and cover the attachment of strips. Very easy to do with your favorite fabrics.

Per questo quadretto invece ho utilizzato alcune parti dello schema "Autumn Row" di Bent Creeck (zucche, corvi e foglie) e un alfabeto per scrivere ciò che volevo.

For this I used some parts of the chart "Autumn Row" of Bent Creeck (pumpkins, crows and leaves) and an alphabet chart to write what I like (House of Pumpkins).
